Close: TGT +13.9%, AAPL -16.5%, AMP +11.3%

TGT was profitable and with my recent luck of bad trades it was time to cash in.  We opened a double calendar on the Apr/Jun 47.50/52.50s.  A double calendar is simply two calendar trades placed at various locations within the ‘channel’ of the stock.  It provides for a larger sweet spot and a little less risk.  The trade was opened for -4.60 and closed for +5.24 = +.64/4.60 = +13.9%

This is the second time I’ve been profitable with TGT.  Maybe I actually need to start shopping there.  :)

AAPL turned out to be a bad trade for me that going back and looking at it I would have made the same trade again, it just didn’t turn out right on this one.  I closed my long call for +13.50 to make a final ROI -2.67/16.17 = -16.5%

I have some friends that don’t trade AAPL anymore becuase it has beaten them…I think I’m going to join the crowd for a while.

The AMP straddle turned out to be very nice for me.  I closed it for -6.03 for an ROI of +.99/8.75 = +11.3%
